1. John McTiernan Could've Released A VERY Different Film In 1995...

John McTiernan has a pretty impressive filmography. While the director hasn't presided over any project for a long time now, he has the likes of Predator, the first Die Hard, The Hunt for Red October and Last Action Hero to his name.
Before he was handed the keys to the third Die Hard though, McTiernan was also offered the chance to direct a sequel to Batman Returns, which eventually became Batman Forever.
McTiernan passed on the offer, but one can only imagine what he would've done with the Dark Knight. It's fair to say it would've probably differed a great deal to what Joel Schumacher eventually came up with, but if it meant missing out on Die Hard with a Vengeance? Well, the choice is easy.
