25 Things You Didn't Know About Ghostbusters

20. The Ghost In The No-Ghost Sign Actually Has A Name

Originally designed by Michael C. Gross, the No-Ghost sign was not only the perfect design for the Ghostbusters logo, but was also a genius marketing tool that has endured for almost 40 years, and is one of the most recognisable logos in pop culture history.

Dig a little deeper, and you will find that this sign is more than just a mascot. It’s actually a character all to itself, complete with a name: Mooglie.

Although Mooglie never appears as an actual character, we've seen him strutting through the streets of New York on The Real Ghostbusters intro, as well as making a brief appearance in season 3 when a malevolent ghost takes on his form. He has also appeared as a villain in the 2016 movie remake.
