The famous "Cuban Pete" musical sequence is one of the film's most unforgettable scenes, with The Mask performing an infectious and elaborate song-and-dance routine that finds the assembled police force helplessly joining in with him.

And as much as fans love it, the film's producers weren't so keen, disliking the sequence enough that they originally wanted it cut from the movie, believing it to be too long and, worse still, unfunny.

In a classic example of producers being wildly off-base, though, test audiences loved it and so they decided to keep it in, resulting in one of The Mask's marquee set-pieces.
