When the police catch up with The Mask after the park scene, he's handcuffed and searched by the cops, prompting The Mask to recoil in pain and tell them, "Where's a camcorder when you need it?"

To younger viewers this might seem like a relatively innocuous comment, but it was actually written as a nod to the 1991 police beating of Rodney King, which was still fresh in the public's mind when The Mask hit cinemas three years later.

King's beating was of course famously captured on a camcorder whereafter it became a media sensation, and in relatively subtle fashion, this one-liner alludes to that.
