3. Director Anne Fletcher (Step Up, The Proposal) Cameos As A Dancing Cop

And now here's a totally random and unexpected cameo nobody would've guessed.

Long before she became the director of hit movies such as Step Up, 27 Dresses and The Proposal, Anne Fletcher worked as a dance choreographer on The Mask, and also had a tiny role as one of the police officers who gets "possessed" by The Mask during the Cuban Pete sequence.

Fletcher spoke to Variety for the film's 25th anniversary and said of her experience, "We had the best time ever...This was an exceptional job. You had Jim Carrey, Cameron and Chuck and all of these people. We had so many dancers on it, it was just so much fun. It was so big because I had nothing to compare it to...[Carrey was a] choreographer’s dream. He’s all legs and just got such an awareness of his physical abilities, which makes him so funny. He just throws himself out there."

Fletcher worked for more than a decade on some of Hollywood's biggest movies (including Titanic) before transitioning into becoming a full-time director in the late 2000s. Most recently, she helmed the Jennifer Aniston-starring Netflix Original comedy Dumplin'.
