25 Worst Christmas Movies Of All Time
16. Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas (2013)
Atrocious even for the through-the-Earth's-crust expectations that any Tyler Perry movie invites, his own stab at a feel-good holiday movie scored an impressive six Razzie nominations for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Actress (Tyler Perry), Worst Screen Combo ("That worn-out wig and dress") and Worst Supporting Actor (Larry the Cable Guy).
The glut of racist and sexist jokes are frequently groan-inducing at best and outright offensive at worst, and strangely the film is also a mess technically, with amateur editing and some extremely bad dialogue recording, all the more embarrassing as it had a $25 million budget.
Clearly churned out to snatch a quick buck from an under-represented demographic that certainly deserves better, it turns out that a sprinkling of Christmas cheer only makes Tyler Perry even more annoying.
