4. An American Carol (2008)
A disappointing effort from Airplane! and The Naked Gun's David Zucker, this Conservative propaganda piece attempts to take the political left to task, but unfortunately can't find a clever or funny way to do so.
Take politics out of the equation and there's nothing smart or thoughtful going on here, just the usual Michael Moore fat jokes while squandering an epic cast including Kelsey Grammer, Jon Voight, Dennis Hopper (in his final live-action role released while he was still alive), Gary Coleman and Leslie Nielsen.
The film is at least absurd enough that you can basically watch it as a mockery of ridiculous Conservative opinions, but in terms of its intent, it's vile.
