25 Worst Christmas Movies Of All Time
18. Love The Coopers (2015)
The single memorable thing about this film is the plot twist that the entire film is in fact being narrated by a dog, voiced by Steve Martin no less.
Despite an excellent cast (including Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Ed Helms, Diane Keaton, Olivia Wilde, Jake Lacy, Anthony Mackie, Amanda Seyfried, June Squibb and Marisa Tomei), this is basically along the lines of all those Garry Marshall-directed ensemble dramedies themed around a holiday.
Contrived and flatly unoriginal, the cast do provide some occasional relief (especially Wilde), but it's far too long at almost 2 hours in length, and pretty much as low-effort as these blatant paycheck movies come.
