25 WTF Moments From Jurassic World

5. The Totally Cheap T-Rex "Surprise" At The End

There's one notable sleight of hand that the movie pulls on audiences, and that's in almost completely downplaying the presence of the T-Rex, to the point that you're practically meant to assume that it's a non-entity and everything is all about the Indominus Rex. Of course, though, the T-Rex makes a return at the very end of the movie when summoned by Claire (thanks to handy use of a flare, in a blatant homage to the original movie), showing up to team with a Raptor to take down the hybrid, in what's supposed to be a shocking moment of fanboy satisfaction, but ultimately it just feels cheap and tacked-on. Yes, the fight itself is fun, but the lame attempt to shout "surprise!" at the viewer isn't so much.
