6. Surprise Surprise, The Indominus Has Raptor DNA...

Prepare to shout out "Called it!" if you knew that the Indominus Rex would surely have Raptor DNA in its genetic make-up, and that this would somehow play into the central plot. While many fans were worried that the movie's final third would simply be a pack of domesticated Raptors facing off against the Big Bad, that's certainly not the case, as the Indominus uses its Raptor genetics to communicate with the pack, causing the Raptors to turn on the humans and start killing the nearby soldiers. It might've been a cool plot point had it not been so overwhelmingly obvious (like a lot of the stuff in this movie), but at least it added a little complication and turmoil to what could have been a laughably simple third act showdown. Of course, for the epic final battle, Owen manages to convince the Raptors to resume their fight with the Indominus...
