2. Wait... Jason's Afraid Of Water?! - Freddy Vs. Jason
It took over a decade (longer than that actually) for it to finally happen but in 2003 we finally got to see horrors two biggest icons Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees duke it out on-screen. Prior to the film being released it felt like a Presidential campaign, who were you going to vote for.
And while the film isn't terrible, there is one thing that peeved off Friday fans quite a bit. Namely, the fact that it's revealed that Jason is afraid of water. It's understandable that the filmmakers wanted to do something that would give Freddy an advantage over him, but a fear of water? The same character who has, time and again, walked willingly into Crystal Lake? Who boarded a ship going to New York City? Really?
Though, to be fair, in the film, during Jasons nightmare in the dream world, Freddy was deep inside Jasons subconscious, and thats the only place where Jason actually seems to have a fear of water. But still, that's no excuse.
