1. Jason Takes Prisoners Now - Friday The 13th (2009)
The Jason Voorhees from the 2009 F13 reboot is quite different from the Jason that many are familiar with. This time around he's essentially a master of jungle warfare. And he also takes prisoners now, apparently.
Yup, early on he kidnaps a young lady whom he mistakes for his mother - or she simply reminds him of his mother (and thus, may bring him comfort). In a certain respect, this actually doesn't fall far from the tree. In fact, this isnt the first situation where Jason mistook someone for his mother.
However, this girl is held captive for well over a month. Jason must have fed her, and provided amenities (a bucket if nothing else). This was one of those "nope, this isn't going to fly" aspects of the movie that many wouldnt stand for. At the very least, it was wildly uncharacteristic of the character. Jason doesn't take hostages, let alone provide them with three hots and a cot. Shame on you guys.
