10. The Wicked Witch Of Springwood - Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN7BmVcVMgI By the time the sixth entry of the Elm Street series came about, it was clear that New Line Cinema pretty much gave up. They were just going to go balls to the wall ridiculous and dared somebody to say something about it. No scene better exemplifies this then when we are first reintroduced to Freddy. As the last surviving teenager from Springwood awakens (or falls asleep), he finds himself in a house he's not familiar with. Suddenly, The Wizard Of Oz theme music can be heard and Krueger pops up dressed as the Wicked Witch Of The West, flying on a broomstick. To cap off the absurdness, he proclaims: "I'll get you, my pretty! And your little soul too!" Quite silly, indeed, and, as stated before, this is only Freddys introduction into the film. Theres so much more to come.
