24. Mother's Rag Doll Demise - A Nightmare On Elm Street

After Nancy defeats Freddy we cut to the next day where everything seems to be peaceful. All of Nancy€™s friends and family that Freddy had killed are shown to not be dead at all as they prepare to drive off to school. Suddenly, the roof of their car clamps shut €“ the material an exact match to the pattern of Freddy€™s red and green sweater €“ and the car starts moving of its own accord. As if this isn't weird enough, we then see Nancy€™s mother, Marge, pulled through her tiny front door window by Freddy. The scene is hilarious because it could not look any more fake if it tried (she looks horribly like a rag doll). The film has plenty of special effects that still hold up today. This isn't one of them.
