27. The New Protagonist Watches The Human Centipede II
The Human Centipede 3 begins with a clip from the end of the second movie, and then cuts to reveal that the film is being watched by the protagonist of the new movie, William Boss (Dieter Laser). It's the first of many meta flourishes throughout the film, keen to draw attention to the existence of the movie franchise within the universe of each subsequent film. Is it necessary? No. But is it kinda amusing? Sure.
