You can accuse Tom Six of many things, but resting on his laurels isn't one of them, as he briefly introduces "The Human Caterpillar" near the end of the movie. In an earlier scene, several inmates are shown being medically dismembered, and it transpires that they are being put into a modified, limbless centipede, appropriately renamed to the caterpillar. Boss says that it's "for the lifetime convicts and our friends on death row", and follows up with, "Is that a deterrent?" Yes, Boss, yes it is. Well done.
