7. Madeleine Tells Bond She Loves Him After Just A Few Days
One of the dumbest and most unconvincing things about Spectre is the love story between Bond and Swann. Sure, they're thrust into an intense, emotionally charged situation where they become attached to one another: that much is believable. Things strain credibility, though, when Swann watches Bond being tortured, walks up to him and tells him, "I love you". It's just a little too easy and doesn't feel earned enough: it's only been a few days, especially considering how sensible and level-headed Swann seems when we first meet her. Plus, does it need to be love yet for the sake of the story? Those declarations can all come later, and probably off-screen. Also, considering that Swann doesn't show up until about half-way through the movie, the two actually haven't shared that much screen time before this happens. Ick.
