2. Boba Fett
This choice is the biggest no-brainer of the new Lucasfilm/Disney deal right? Boba Fett needs his own stand alone franchise really but beginning with a one shot story seems a great idea. The way I see it, this film cant start with anything other than Boba crawling his way out of the Sarlac Pitt. Once and for all a film needs to commit to the truth we all hold dear to, that Boba Fett obviously didn't die in the belly of some sand worm. It was just a bit of luck on Han Solos part that temporarily took the Fett out of commission.. Anyway, after that, Boba lends himself to a great deal of story options. Django style space westerns, a final face off with an alive Mace Windu, or just Boba doing Boba bounty hunting as he re-establishes his day job of hating on anyone and everyone that gets in his way. The Clone Wars series seems to be taking Boba Fett in a direction that could lead up to more arcs used in films and this stand alone stand alone Boba Fett story makes much more sense than a 60 year old Boba Fett chasing down Luke and Co in Episode 7 somehow (still sorta wanna see that as well though).
