A few years before Eric Bana smashed things in Ang Lee's Hulk in 2003, the actor apparently had his sights set on another beloved antihero. Namely, he wanted a crack at Marvel's supernatural motorcyclist Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider. At the time Bana went to meet with movie producer Avi Arad and showed interested in playing the character. However, Arad apparently persuaded Bana to pursue the role of Bruce Banner in Hulk instead. The reason behind this is because Arad already had his eyes set on Nicolas Cage for the spirit-possessed motorcyclist. Two disappointing, yet fairly profitable, Ghost Rider films later and you'd be forgiven for wondering if everyone involved with these movies is still happy with their decisions.
