30 Behind The Scenes Shots That Completely Change The Tone Of Great Movies
12. "We're Still Havin' Fun And You're Still The One"
The Matrix,1999's amazing action movie that inspired a million different parodies (especially of their famous Matrix-time battle sequences), was truly groundbreaking and was one of the best reviewed movies of the year. Of course, the Wachowski brothers immediately flushed all that goodwill down the toilet by producing some of the most God awful sequels this side of Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. Obviously, the battle sequences in The Matrix were what made it truly stand out and it proved so popular that the NFL even tried it during the Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants. The ability of Neo and Agent Smith to fly though the air with the greatest of ease wasn't achieved easily. Massive amounts of green screen and wires made the situation possible and produced one of the great action movies of the last 20 years.
11. "Hold On, Let Me Refresh Before Continuing To Slaughter You"
Michael Myers, the uncontrollable and unstoppable killing machine from the Halloween film franchise, is as synonymous with horror movies as Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger, or Dracula. His silent and calm demeanor is made all the more unnerving by a white mask (actually a painted William Shatner mask) which obviously never changes expression, shows pain, or expresses emotion. Nick Castle, friend of director John Carpenter, stops here to refresh the painted Captain Kirk with a Dr. Pepper. Why he would choose such a disgusting and gross drink to fuel the mass murderer is still up for debate.
10. "More Bananas, Sir?"
Those damn, dirty apes sure look like damn, dirty movie stars in this picture. Between the khakis and the straw hat, our first ape looks like he just retired from being an accountant and is now being an annoying tourist on the beaches of the Dominican Republic. It's quite possible his hat also matches the pit stains on his 10 year old white undershirt. Our simian friend on the right seems to be enjoying a Tab cola while discussing the performance of the New York Stock Exchange while also blissfully unaware that other people find him hopelessly annoying and full of himself.
