30 Biggest Movies Of 2015 We Can't Wait For

1. Mission: Impossible 5 (Dec 25)

Few people expected much from Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, but low and behold, Bird delivered what's easily the best film in the series, jam-packed with breathless action, excellent cast chemistry (namely the incredibly sexy Paula Patton) and more globe-trotting than a James Bond movie. Regular Tom Cruise collaborator Christopher McQuarrie (he recently directed Jack Reacher and co-wrote Edge of Tomorrow) will direct, while Iron Man 3's Drew Pearce will write the script, with Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg confirmed to return in supporting roles. With this one, it's all about the script: McQuarrie has only directed two movies, but with the right nudge from Pearce, he should be able to deliver an exciting action movie (as evidenced by his work on Jack Reacher). We won't be expecting a better movie than Ghost Protocol, but if it's better than the second and third films, we'll be happy. And just like almost every big action movie these days, it's going to be filmed largely in and probably set around London.
