30 Biggest Movies Of 2015 We Can't Wait For

27. Avengers: Age Of Ultron (May 1)

After the huge critical and commercial success of The Avengers, Joss Whedon has a lot to live up to with Avengers: Age of Ultron, which brings the superhero supergroup back together against a dangerous artificial intelligence, Ultron (James Spader), while also introducing new characters Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). With filming already taking place in South Africa, Italy, South Korea and the UK, Age of Ultron looks set to be a globe-trotting affair that will raise the already epic scale to awesome new heights. In fairness, the movie doesn't need to do much to succeed: the sheer bombast of these characters will be enough to make it a hit, and as long as Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is as hilarious as usual and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) gets plenty of opportunities to smash things, there's no way it won't be fun, even if it doesn't live up to the fresh brilliance of the first film. Information is scant aside from leaked set images as pictured above, so we'll have to wait and see... Predicted Rotten Tomatoes Score: 86%

26. Mad Max: Fury Road (May 15)

A movie that's been so long in production you'd be forgiven for assuming it had been cancelled, Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film in George Miller's wild franchise, and began shooting almost two years ago with Tom Hardy taking over Mel Gibson's iconic title role. Though we still don't know for sure if Fury Road is a sequel or a reboot, it's certainly loaded with promise: we haven't seen a Mad Max film in 30 years, Tom Hardy is perfectly cast for the role, and Charlize Theron is playing the leader of the savage marauders, Imperator Furiosa. What's not to like? Fury Road finished shooting in December 2012, but had gone over-budget and required re-shoots a year later. The last we heard on the movie, it had been test-screened in Los Angeles to a mostly positive response, and given how long it's been since the last movie, next May can't come soon enough. Predicted Rotten Tomatoes Score: 73%
