30 Greatest Marvel Movie Villains

Though Sabretooth was first depicted on-screen by Tyler Mane in the original X-Men movie, it's Liev Schreiber's take on the character that really hit the mark (in an otherwise pretty terrible movie, no less).

We get to see Sabretooth aka Victor Creed fighting alongside his brother Wolverine throughout history, where early hints are made at his unstable nature, before he joins William Stryker's Team X and fully embraces his villainy.

Eventually, though, the group disbands and Creed begins hunting the ex-members down, of course leading him to Wolverine. In a rare moment of truce that shouldn't be mistaken for heroism, Creed and Logan then team up to take on "Deadpool".

Schreiber does a fantastic job with the film's juiciest role, and it's just a shame he didn't have a better script to work with.

That said, there have been talks about the possibility of Schreiber reprising the role for next year's third Wolverine movie. We'll have to wait and see...
