30 Greatest Marvel Movie Villains
29. Yellowjacket - Corey Stoll (Ant-Man)
Another example of a fairly so-so character elevated by a terrific actor at the helm, Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket may have been a rather cliched douche scientist-businessman, but Corey Stoll shot this through with about as much gusto as possible.
Plus, the nature of Ant-Man's plot meant that we got to see Cross pull off one of the MCU's most imaginative and gnarly kills, turning a dissenter into a small pile of goop and then flushing him down the toilet. He also had the distinction of facing off against Thomas the Tank Engine, which is both hilarious and easily one of the most memorable moments in not just the MCU, but all Marvel movies to date.
We won't mourn the fact he's gone, but he was saved from blandness by Stoll's fine work and the loopy nature of the pint-sized plot.
