9. Sebastian Shaw - Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class)
Kevin Bacon made for one hell of a villain as Sebastian Shaw, the leader of the Hellfire Club who can absorb energy to heal himself, retain his youth and even fire it in blast form.
Shaw started out as a Nazi named Dr. Klaus Schmidt who "helped" Magneto harness his mutant abilities by killing his mother, and from there attempted to take over the world by pushing the Cuban Missile Crisis past the brink.
What's particularly fascinating here is that, in many ways, Magneto actually agrees with Shaw's notions of mutants being superior to humans, and this later informs his own actions, namely taking Shaw's telepath-blocking helmet for himself and leading the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Plus, Shaw gets arguably the best death in the entire X-Men series, with Magneto slowly forcing a coin through his head. What's not to like?
