30 Greatest Star Wars Characters
26. Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui-Gon Jinn was one of those characters from the Prequel Trilogy that very obviously had a lot to him, but failed to have much of that explored onscreen. Sure, everyone gathered that he was a bit of a rebel, but apart from training Obi-Wan and ushering in the demise of the Jedi by recruiting Anakin, there wasn't that much else to him.
Like other actors of that series, however, Liam Neeson managed to elevate Qui-Gon to cult status among Star Wars fans. In the intervening years between the prequel and sequel trilogies releasing, the character has been explored in various tie-in media, to the point where many Star Wars fans actually consider him to be one of the most important Jedi to have existed.
