The leader of the doomed Rogue One crew, Jyn Erso was one of the Galaxy's most heroic protagonists. The daughter of Galen Erso, reluctant architect of the Death Star, Jyn grew up with a deep vendetta against the Empire and in adulthood joined the Rebellion in hopes of doing some serious damage to the Galaxy's Imperial leaders.
Mounting a daring mission to retrieve the Death Star plans, Jyn gave her life to give hope to the Alliance, and in doing so became one of the unsung heroes of the Rebellion.
