20. Mary, Queen Of Scots

Mary Queen Of Scots Saoirse Ronan
Universal/EW

Saorise Ronan and Margot Robbie went up against each other at the Oscars this year (though both ultimately lost out to Frances McDormand), but there's a high chance we'll be seeing them both nominated for the same film in 2019.

Mary, Queen of Scots sees Ronan taking on the titular role, with Robbie playing Queen Elizabeth I, in a drama directed by acclaimed theatre director Josie Rourke, written by House of Cards creator Beau Willimon, and based on the book My Heart Is My Own: The Life Of Mary, Queen of Scots by John Guy.

We've had films focused on Elizabeth before, but this will put the spotlight on one of British history's most fascinating and debated Royal figures, including her tenure as Queen of France, claim to the throne of England, and return to Scotland. Luckily, it has two great talents to do it justice.
