Hype: This qualifies here despite the release date thanks to a September release in the UK and Europe (sometimes it is better to be on the other side of the ocean), and it is legitimately one of the most delightful surprise prospects of the year.

It's been in production for a long time (8 years from idea to screen), and the early reviews seem to be absolutely falling over themselves to praise it. Initially it sounded particularly odd - Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen making a Pixar-like animation - but the trailers have all changed that, with outrageous comedy, very adult material and a wicked spirit.
