27. Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

Billed As: Despite the title, Jack Reacher is back and he's going back to the HQ of his old military outfit, where he ends up being implicated in a 16-year-old murder, which is just the entrance of the rabbit hole. It's Mission Impossible isn't it. Except with a different name.
Hype: The first movie was actually not terrible, pulling in enough money to warrant going back, and to be perfectly honest, anything that has Tom Cruise in a variation of his Ethan Hunt role is going to go down well. He sells the tickets (and the hype) on his own.
The cast aside from him might not be quite as starry as first time out, but it has added the ever-watchable Cobie Smulders and Straight Outta Compton's excellent Aldis Hodge.
It'll be thrilling, it'll be entertaining... It won't win any Oscars.
