In any other year, Ellen DeGeneres' Oscar selfie would've been the easy story of the night, but not one to be outdone, John Travolta stole all the attention away with his hysterical mispronunciation of Frozen singer Idina Menzel's name.

Travolta introduced Menzel as "Adele Dazeem", prompting viewers at home to worry that Travolta had suffered a stroke, considering how far away from her real name that utterance was.

Travolta became the laughing stock of 2014's Oscars and publicly apologised to Menzel, who took it in good humour.

At 2015's show, the two teamed up for a bit where Menzel introduced Travolta as "Glom Gazingo" and Travolta made things even worse by creepily grabbing Menzel's chin and refusing to let go.
