"Do not pity the dead Harry, pity the living. And above all, pity those who live without love." Who said it: Albus Dumbledore Book/film: The Deathly Hallows (Part 2) If you're able to live your life without love, whether it be not loving anyone else or having no one love you, you're pretty much dead anyway. You'd be a ghost in society, just drifting through each day without any passion, conviction or purpose, and that's a very sad thing indeed. Everyone deserves to have love in their life (maybe not Umbridge), but you should pity those who are unable to share their lives with anyone. And JK reminds us that life is hard. There are always going to be challenges to face even if you don't want to but when you're dead, you're free from those pressures and restrictions.
