28. Hector Returns

A far more satisfying cameo comes moments later when Letty is being congratulated but begins to suffer PTSD-esque flashbacks to her near-death in the fourth movie. This causes her to lash out, punching Hector (Noel Gugliemi), who came up behind her to give her a hug. Letty leaves, Hector greets Dom, and Dom says, "You never could take a punch." Long-time fans of the series might remember Hector's small role in the original Fast and the Furious movie, where he quipped the memorable line, "They call me Hector. Gotta last name too, but I can't pronounce it." Also, Hector is played by Noel Gugliemi, who might just be the most typecast actor on the planet, known largely for playing Latino gangbanger and gangster characters in a variety of movies, including S.W.A.T., Bruce Almighty and The Dark Knight Rises.
