9. Muldoon Meets The "Clever Girl" (Jurassic Park)
One of the most entertaining and under-appreciated characters in the entire franchise is Jurassic Park's steely game warden, Robert Muldoon (Bob Peck), who meets a highly iconic and rather disturbing end when he decides to hunt the Velociraptors down. However, he makes the mistake of being lured out by one Raptor, while another attacks him from the side (just as Alan had mentioned earlier in the movie). Before he has his face munched off, Muldoon has just enough time to mutter to immortal one-liner, "Clever girl", leading to a thoroughly unpleasant sequence in which the Raptor leaps on him and begins snacking away. The gore is just barely obscured by the surrounding plant life, but the blood-curdling screams are not. Extra points, too, for that sublimely creepy shot of the original Raptor calmly looking on. Given how bada** Muldoon was, it's a shame he had to die, but at the same time, it cemented the stakes for the less-experienced main characters - the threat was very real.
