33 Incredible Movie Inspired Tattoos

24. Gremlins (1984)

Artist: Sadee Johnston (@sadeejohnton) If you were ever going to forget that the cute little Mogwai had the ability to turn into the hideously ugly Gremlins if they are fed after midnight this tattoo is a superb reminder; it's just a shame none of the characters in the 1984 film had it inked on them. The line work and colour here makes it a fantastic piece of art as well as a handy reminder.

23. Batman (1989)

Artist: Steve Soto (@stevesototattoo) It has been six years since the release of The Dark Knight yet Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker is still very much a hot topic with many people getting tattoos to celebrate the actor's last complete role. People forget that over twenty years ago Jack Nicholson gave a similarly superb performance as Gotham's clown prince of crime. Whoever got this tattoo of Nicholson's Joker certainly hasn't forgotten though.

22. Fight Club (1999)

Artist: Dan Smith (@dansmithism) It might not be of a character or pivotal scene but this simple tattoo depicts one of the most memorable images from David Fincher's iconic movie. The bar of soap was featured on the theatrical release poster over the tagline "Mischief. Mayhem. Soap" so its importance in the film cannot be understated.
