5. Johnny's Choice (Mad Max)

At the very end of the movie, Max manages to track down Johnny, who has presumably just caused another car wreck and looted the corpses. Max then cuffs him to the wrecked car and hands him a hacksaw, giving him two options: cut through the high-tensile steel in about ten minutes, or hack through his own ankle in five. As a distraught Johnny pleads with Max, he speeds away, and a few moments later, the car is seen exploding in the background. Long before the Saw movies ever thought up such a grim fate (and coincidentally enough, they're also Australian), Mad Max had it covered.
