4 Reasons Why The World's End Is Great (And 1 Reason It's Not)

1. The Ending

The World's End This one is honestly a doubly whammy. It has two parts and here's the first one: The real ending of the movie, particularly the last five to ten minutes. Without spoiling too much the ending felt out of place and not in sync with the humor or tone of the rest of the film. I wouldn't say I was disappointed because I wasn't. I would say, however, that I was more confused than anything. While watching The World's End I could notice and pick out certain aspects and filming techniques that let me know who this film belonged to. I knew and felt that this was Edgar Wright's and Simon Pegg's baby during the movie but then the end came and I couldn't tell they wrote it, there was something about it that felt wrong. Now here's part two: The Ending, meaning the ending of The Cornetto Trilogy, or Blood And Ice Cream Trilogy. The movies are over and I feel now something that I haven't felt since the credits began to roll at the end of the last Harry Potter movie. We'll never see another Harry Potter movie and even if they reboot the franchise it will never be the same. It's almost the same with The Cornetto Trilogy. The end is here and now I have nothing to look forward to. Right now that is! Leave a comment below and tell us what YOU thought of The World's End!
