40 Incredible Film Facts You’ve Never Heard Of

36. Saw Was Filmed In Less Than 3-Weeks

The original Saw and the stomach-churning franchise it spawned may well be the best horror series in recent cinematic history. The first film is easily the finest and grossed an impressive $55 million at the box office. Incredibly this tight, intricately structured movie was filmed over just 18 days.

35. Finding Mike Wazowski In Finding Nemo Credits

All Pixar films are known to be crammed full of Easter Eggs and references to other films in the Pixar canon. Over the years we have seen what feels like a thousand Pizza-Planet vans, clown fish and inanimate Buzz Lightyear dolls and we assume even the least observant Pixar fans have spotted many of them. However, this cool little Easter Egg comes part of the way through the credits which we assume some of you didn't bother watching so we thought we'd throw it in. We see Mike Wazowski of Monsters Inc. a long way from home; diving at the bottom of the ocean.

34. Hugo Was The First DiCaprio-less Scorsese Film In 12 Years

People always talk about the relationship between Martin Scorsese and his supposed favorite lead Robert De Niro and forget about poor old Leonardo DiCaprio. However, Scorsese's 2011 film Hugo was the first project the legendary director had undertaken in twelve years which didn't feature Leo. The charming historical adventure film is generally a rather large departure from Marty's traditional themes of crime and debauchery so perhaps it wasn't so surprising that he changed things up on the acting front as well.

33. Pierce Brosnan Was Prohibited From Wearing Tuxedo In Any Non-James Bond Movie

Pierce Brosnan had a decade long tenure as 007 and during this time crafted some extremely enjoyable bond films. Behind the scenes Brosnan was contractually forbidden from wearing a tuxedo in any non-James Bond movies. The fifth man to play Bond (assuming you count George Lazenby) was probably pleased, having been forced to wear a tux more than enough during his time serving MI6.
