24. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
When you look at Benedict Cumberbatch's face, it's a wonder he hasn't been cast as a Doctor Seuss character before now: he has a magical sort of oddness that translates incredibly well, after all. But wouldn't you know it, the first time the universe has corrected that wrong and he's only voicing Seuss' most famous creation.
After lending his voice to Smaug and Dormammu in Doctor Strange, Cumberbatch is going to be the voice of the new Grinch for Illumination's animated adaptation. At least that means he doesn't have to compete directly with Jim Carrey's excellent live action performance.
You already know the story, and the studio are the behemoths behind the Minions, so it'll probably look great too. But why it's not out at actual Christmas is anyone's guess.
