2. Deadpool 2

Anyone who saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine's mauling of Deadpool could never have hoped back then that we'd get to see one great Deadpool movie let alone an entire franchise. And yet, thanks in part to the perseverance of Ryan Reynolds and the strength of the character's premise, that's exactly what we're looking at in 2018.

The sequel, which doesn't yet have an official release date, will see 'Pool joined by fellow mercenary Domino and time-travelling fan favourite Cable, played by Josh Brolin. It's unlikely we'll get to see too many links to the wider X-Men universe, but Fox should be smart enough to tie the plot into the forthcoming X-Force movie that should follow it.

Plus, a cheeky new Wolverine cameo wouldn't go amiss, now would it?
