I recently met Mr. Tudyk at a Q and A session at the Middle East Film and Comic Con this year. I asked him if he would consider playing the Ant-Man role, and he went on to say he was rumoured to be Ant-Man and he has looked him up recently. When I told him that Simon Pegg was rumoured to be the villain in Ant-Man (well, he wants to be), Alan said "Yeah, I'll do Ant Man." This received cheers from the crowd, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is trying to get the role now. He starred on Joss Whedon's popular show Firefly, so he is no stranger to the director of The Avengers. At the Q&A he also stated he is in talks with Joss to be introduced in The Avengers 2 as a "completely new character." Ant-Man is going to be one of those characters. Coincidence much? The man is an absolutely phenomenal actor, and he is due some leading man material as he has only played supporting roles in the past. Let him play the mighty, midget-sized Ant Man in 2015.
