What else has he been in? Real Steel, Man On A Ledge, 8 Mile, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Notorious Now for someone who is off the market as far as this role is concerned, but a worthy talking point nonetheless. Originally one of the favourites for the role, Mackie could undoubtedly play a great Black Panther, but he has recently been confirmed as the man to play Falcon, the hero with the ability to fly and communicate telepathically with birds, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Either way, I think he'll be a great addition to the Marvel cinematic universe. He's only 34 years old, is in decent shape, has Hollywood good looks and has proven to be fairly versatile in his previous acting roles - ranging from playing Tupac Shakur to William H. Johnson. But the aforementioned casting as another member of the MCU means this is a no-go.
