What else has he been in? Gladiator, Blood Diamond, The Tempest, In America, Eragon, Amistad, Never Back Down, Push Seemingly
the favourite for the Black Panther role, I think Hounsou was born to play it. He has the looks, he has the chiselled torso and he - undoubtedly - has the intense acting prowess to play a truly superb portrayal of the Wakandan hero. At 48, his physical condition and fantastic acting ability make his age seem almost irrelevant. I envision some very fascinating interactions with the likes of Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor and Bruce Banner/Hulk if this casting is made. I really think it would make for brilliant viewing and would strongly urge Marvel to make this call. A Black Panther movie with Hounsou in the lead role would bring a whole new dynamic to the MCU and create a different, more intense movie than we've seen before, and a subsequent merger with the world of The Avengers in future movies would be simply epic.
