3. Batman: Hush
One of the more interesting stories in Batman's superhero career were the events in
Hush.
Hush tells the story of a mystery that embroils the entire Batman universe. An enigmatic new bandage-faced villain, who goes by the name Hush, puts together a plot to destroy Batman which involves almost his entire gallery of rogues and even some of Batman's allies - both current and previous - which might mean having to cut some characters from a movie version or make it a multiple movie saga. It's action-packed and involves some scenes that would make wonderful cinematic viewing and really explores Batman as a character. His paranoia and insecurities are delved in to deeply as the antagonist poses a serious threat to the caped crusader. It's a great detective story, which is something that has been inexplicably missing from previous Batman movie plots as Batman's detective side is an essential part of his character. The final revelation - which I won't spoil for anyone unfamiliar with the story - would make for an excellent movie twist that would ensure a big reaction from the fanatic global audience and make for an excellent Batman film.
