4. Let's Fight
Having fallen in love with Lois in Superman II and revealed his secret identity to her, Superman uses a molecule chamber in the Fortress of Solitude to make him mortal, removing of all his powers that he is granted under our yellow Sun - which, to be honest, is not a very Superman thing to do. To make matters worse, he has no idea at this time because of his romancing of Lois, that the twisted and evil General Zod and his two compatriots have arrived on Earth seeking revenge against the Son of Jor-El for their imprisonment in the Phantom Zone. Becoming aware of Zod's occupation of Earth only when he is now human and powerless to stop him, Clark sees the error of his ways in abandoning the people of Earth in the pursuit of love. Regaining his powers back at the Fortress, Clark returns to Metropolis and delivers the single greatest line that has ever been uttered in the history of comic book movies. Due to Superman's standing as 'The Big Blue Boy Scout', there is a misconception that Superman is this timid, shy being who never gets mad or angry, which is simply not true. Here, the full epicness of Superman is on display, as he flies to the outside of the Daily Planet window delivers the most badass of badass lines; 'General, would you care to step outside?' Go on Superman, have him!
