3. Kneel Before Zod
After the great line that Superman delivers to commence a battle with his fellow Kryptonians, Superman unfortunately comes a bit unstuck as he faces three foes of equal powers as he. With Zod being the wise sociopathic war General that he is, he uses the public of Metropolis to his advantage in the Fatal Four Way, forcing Superman to flee in order to save the people he wishes to protect. Of course, Zod puts this down to Superman being a coward, and with the help of the always looking to help himself self proclained greatest criminal mind of his time, Lex Luthor, takes off to the Fortress of Solitude. Thanks again to Luthor's deception, Zod learns that if he places Superman in to the molecule chamber he can remove him of his powers, and make him his slave for eternity. As the Fortress glows red as it did when Superman removed his powers earlier, we're all wondering just how Superman can get himself out of this one, and we aren't left disappointed. Proving a whole Kryptonian calendar year more awesome than the 'would you care to step outside line', as Superman kneels before Zod, the sound of crushing bones and utter pain are heard as John Williams triumphant score springs to life revealing that Superman had tricked them all, and Zod and Co. were now the ones who were mortal. An incredible moment that will just never get old.
