2. Batman
A lot of people have lobbied this casting choice over the years. Perhaps it has something to do with it being perfect casting. Who knows. The Dark Knight Returns took the Batman we know and love and made him a really cantankerous old man with some serious anger management issues. Unlike most old men with such dispositions, Bruce Wayne can lash out without dislocating a hip or having to have a sit down. Being older means Batman can't keep up with the young killers any more so instead for fighting fair, he fights nasty as hell. There is something to be said for experience over youth. You is always dangerous but experience is a massive tactical advantage. Clint would be perfect because of his long history of being type cast as bad ass vigilantes. Imagine Dirty Harry with a tank and a cape. Would make my day (chortle). A lot of actors put on a voice when playing Batman. Christian Bale has become famous for his preposterous Batman voice. Clint's natural voice is Batman's voice. It's actually every cool, grisly bad ass voice ever. Clint was the template. Watch Gran Torino and imagine a cape and cowl over that face. Awesome right?
