3. Matthew Vaughn
Ok, so this is more of a wildcard choice, but hear me out here. This wont be the first time Matthew Vaughn has directed Daniel Craig. His film Layer Cake saw Craig as a street smart drug dealer, and saw his ascension to power through the London underground crime ring. The film featured snappy dialogue and sharp editing that gave the film a sort of flair. Vaughn is not afraid to go out of a genres comfort zone, as shown in his film Kick-Ass, but maybe thats what the Bond franchise needs. This is the man who brought us the greatness that is X-Men: First Class, and that film in of itself had plenty of characteristics of a Bond film.
