4. Total Recall (1990)
This film is not only deservedly on the list as one of the best Arnie films but also as one of the best sci-fi films ever made, regularly appearing on greatest sci-fi movie lists - Time Out magazine place it at number 47 and Total Film at number 38. Thats pretty good going for an actor who many people consider talentless, thus providing us with further proof that Arnold is awesome. It is the story of a man who dreams of visiting Mars almost every night. It is only logical, then, that he goes to have a memory of a Mars trip implanted into his brain at a mind rape company called Recall. Not any old trip though, he wants to be a secret agent sent to save the planet. It turns out he has already been there and he is actually a secret agent. In fact, unbeknownst to Arnie, he is a double secret agent gone bad who fools the rebels into thinking he is on their side when he doesn't even know hes betraying them and himself the whole time. Talk about Inception being an original film, huh? It has all the action and dialogue we have all come to know and love from Arnie films including a kick-ass Sharon Stone, a woman with three breasts, a crazy killer taxi driver and Kuato, a freaky baby stomach dude. With the help of the woman from his dreams (literally), Arnie does indeed prevail and just in time to stop his eyeballs popping out and his face exploding along with the rest of him.
Best quote: Arnie - Consider that a divorce!
