5 Greatest Animal Actors

1. Crystal The Monkey

Crystal You'll almost certainly recognise this simian thespian, though you may not realise just how many films the female Capuchin has been in. Her productivity is certainly evident when it comes to delivering big box office - just 5 of her most recent films have grossed $1.5 billion, which most human actors fail to achieve in a lifetime. Crystal has appeared in films since 1997's George of the Jungle, and was massively prolific until her breakout role in Ben Stiller's Night at the Museum films. Her biggest role to date was arguably in the second Hangover film as a drug-dealing monkey. She's also acted opposite Matt Damon and performs all of her own stunts. As far as the animal kingdom goes, she's the biggest star in the world. Crystal is pure rock and roll, too. Not only does she annihilate red carpet appearances and look great on a magazine cover, but she also has her own addictive substances history. PETA reacted with fury after it was admitted that Crystal had become addicted to cigarettes following her role as a chain-smoking gangster in The Hangover Part II. Monkey method acting comes with its downfalls, you see. Like this list? Let us know in the comments section below.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
